IEDR production API SSL Certificate Authority expiration
The IEDR production API SSL Certificate Authority (SSL CA) is due to expire on July 30th 2009.
IEDR will be generating a new SSL CA which will be used to sign all Reseller's SSL certificates for connectivity to this service.
It is our intention to revoke the present CA on July 15th 2009 at 15:00.
To prevent loss of connectivity from your systems to the production API service, IEDR will sign your present certificate signing request (CSR) file and return it to you by email to the default email address as defined in your CSR file.
To display the email address stored in your CSR file, run the following command:
"openssl req -text -noout -in yourfilename.csr"
If you would like to submit a new CSR for us to sign, please submit the new CSR file via the web page form at this URL: https://www.domainregistry.ie/api/
Additionally, our TEST API SSL CA will be revoked and a new CA will be instated on Monday, 15th June, 2009 at 15:00. Resellers may like to test this change on Monday afternoon. Further tests can be arranged to accommodate Resellers schedules prior to July 15th 2009.
Please contact api@domainregistry.ie with any questions you may have.
