Important Technical Notice: IEDR IP Address Range
Dear Reseller,
Please note that access to Whois, IEDR website and reseller console may not be available on the following date:
* *6pm until 7pm on Thursday 03rd September 2009, to facilitate a migration of connectivity services to HEAnet.**
The planned interruption is related to the enhancement of IEDRs services at its Primary Data Centre facility which will provide greater connectivity and facilitate the introduction of IPv6 services in the future**.
Please be advised that a critical element of this work is the migration to a new IP address range resulting in the renumbering of all IEDR services. In order to ensure a seamless transition for all customers the current connectivity arrangements will remain in place for a period following the migration. *Additionally, given the nature of the changes being performed actual service downtime is expected to last no more than a few minutes. *
You do not need to make any changes to your networks or applications during this period.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Once the project is completed we will have an enhanced network infrastructure in place for the benefit of our .ie resellers and users.
If you have any questions or concerns about this proposed piece of work, please contact us: hittp://iedr.ie/ContactUs.php
Kind regards
IEDR
