COVID-19 Working Arrangements

 

Following the Government’s COVID-19 updated advice for businesses to arrange for remote working where possible, IE Domain Registry will today implement our business continuity and systems resilience plan, which has been planned for and tested. A key objective is to support customers with a minimal level of disruption.

Our office at 2 Harbour Square, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin will close this evening (12/03/20) at 6.30pm and will reopen, subject to further Government advisories, on 30/03/20.

Services will continue to operate, with staff working remotely.  We will continue to provide all registration services as per normal. Please note that support will be by email through registrations@iedr.ie. We aim to reply to all emails as quickly as possible but we would like to ask for patience if you are experiencing longer than normal response times.

Our accounts team can be reached through accounts@iedr.ie . We will be providing our normal service levels in accounts.

Our mission-critical systems are designed with availability and resiliency in mind and in accordance with international best practices.

Our Zone processing, DNS architecture and Anycast systems are designed to operate 24/7 without manual intervention.

Staff will remain contactable by email, phone, video and conference calls and will continue to be as responsive as possible to customer needs.

These actions are taken in the best interests of our staff, customers and suppliers as well as the wider community to ensure social distancing is maintained.  We are acutely aware of our responsibility in supporting the community in responding to the COVID-19 virus to ensure the best possible outcome for all.
