Company Pitch
Description: McAuley Place is a unique, voluntary, not-for-profit, charitable organisation providing an innovative model of housing for older persons, incorporating on-site intergenerational facilities within the heart of the community. The development consists of 53 apartments, a Community Centre, an Arts & Culture Centre, the Convent Tea Rooms, a Volunteer Hub and Renaissance Charity Shop.

Although we are a charity and not a traditional company, we do have business elements to our group which are used solely to fund our charitable work. We need to increase our reach to customers on that side of our business and, although we've been aware of this for a long time, limited funding has restricted our ability to progress.

We need to refresh and re-invigorate our online presence to match the cutting edge ideas and approach we have for independent living for older persons, through our website and social media efforts. As we rely totally on voluntary funding, our progress is slower than we would like so this is a fantastic opportunity for us to launch the next phase of our digital strategy.

We need a modern, dynamic, completely responsive website which is relatively simple to keep up-to-date. The donation function is, without a doubt, the most important asset of a charity website and we don’t have one.

We need the IEDR’s help, and to get that, we need your vote. Please vote for us @ McAuley Place
